Tegan Zimmerman is the Chair of the Alexa McDonough Institute and the Consultant in Equity, Diversity, Inclusivity and Accessibility in Research at Mount Saint Vincent University. She specializes in contemporary gender theory and women’s writing, with a concentration on Caribbean literature. Her work has appeared in journals such as Feminist Theory, MELUS, Journal of Romance Studies, and Atlantis. Her co-edited volume, with Odile Ferly (Clark University) titled Chronotropics: Caribbean Women Writing Spacetime is forthcoming from Palgrave Macmillan, and her manuscript on Caribbean women’s historical fiction called Matria Redux: Caribbean Women Novelize the Past is forthcoming from Mississippi UP in 2023. Zimmerman is also the Chair of the International Comparative Literature Association’s Comparative Gender Studies Research Committee.
