I am a linguist with a main interest in spatial cognition and place attachment. Using Cognitive Discourse Analysis, my research addresses empirical questions about the human mind - how we conceive of the world around us, how we relate to the environment, how we solve problems, etc. The way we verbalise our thoughts can reveal more about human cognition than we might expect.
