Thusha Rajendran

Professor of Psychology, The National Robotarium, Heriot-Watt University

Thusha graduated with undergraduate and masters degrees in Psychology from the University of Birmingham, followed by a PhD in Developmental Psychology at the University of Nottingham. He was an ESRC Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham, before becoming a Lecturer at the School of Education, University of Edinburgh, and then a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the Dept. of Psychology at the University of Strathclyde. He joined Heriot-Watt University as a Reader before being promoted to Professor. He researches socio-cognitive development in both atypical and typical populations – and human-robot interaction.
