Lecturer in Marketing, University of Bath

I'm lecturer in marketing at the University of Bath. I research consumption using sociological and anthropological theory, and 'outsiders', those that exist in the margins of society, distant from the centres of political, economic, and cultural power. These interests have led to studies of 'hardcore' football fan culture, activism towards corporations, and 'truth seekers' who reject knowledge and truths created by universities, the state and science. My research has been published in Sociology, Marketing Theory, and the Journal of Marketing Management.
