(he/him/his)
Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy, Clemson University

Prior to Clemson, I completed my Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, under the supervision of Ned Markosian, Hilary Kornblith, Phil Bricker, and Amie Thomasson (Dartmouth). Prior to UMass, I had started my Ph.D. at McGill University before transferring, and before that I completed an M.A. in Philosophy at Queen’s University and a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science at Lakehead University. I was previously a co-organizer of the UMass Amherst Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) chapter and at Clemson I will be the coach of the Ethics Bowl team. My research is mainly in metaphysics, but it intersects with questions in philosophy of technology, philosophy of art, philosophy of language, and epistemology. I principally work on the nature of artifacts, but also have an active research interest in abstract objects.
