Professor of Entrepreneurship, University of Sheffield

Tim Vorley is Professor of Entrepreneurship at Sheffield University Management School, having previously worked at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford. He was a visiting researcher at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills during the last Comprehensive Spending Review, and Tim is currently on secondment with Innovate UK and the Economic and Social Research Council working on innovation policy. Tim’s current research is in the field of entrepreneurship and institutionalism, having conducted fieldwork in the UK, Europe and Asia. Working with Dr Nick Williams (University of Leeds) he is involved in an ongoing study of perceptions and outlook of entrepreneurs and small business owner managers across the Balkans.
