Associate Professor Tim Baker is an Emergency Physician and Director of Deakin University’s Centre for Rural Emergency Medicine. He works at a regional and two small rural emergency departments in Victoria. He has spent his last seven years researching small rural emergency departments, and working with government and non-government programs to advocate for improvement in the emergency medical care of rural communities.
