Assistant Professor, Accounting, University of Waterloo

Tisha is an Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University. She obtained her PhD Management (Accounting) from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA).

She enjoys learning about why taxpayers make the decisions they do, and how they rationalize ethical judgments. She also has a keen interest in social justice issues, including facilitating barrier-free education. As a CPA and ACCA, she enjoys teaching a variety of accounting courses and loves when students reach that ‘eureka’ learning moment, where the accounting concepts come together. This experience is inspiring and keeps her coming back to teaching year after year.

When Tisha is not doing research, or learning with students, she enjoys running, biking, and hiking with her family.
