Research Fellow, Landscape Ecologist, University of New England

For the past sixteen years I have worked for both Government and non-Government organisations undertaking conservation planning projects as well as developing and applying Geographic Information System (GIS, or a fancy way of saying 'computer mapping')-based decision support tools. I currently work in a research and development group within the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage and recently become an Adjunct Research Fellow in the UNE School of Environmental and Rural Science. A large proportion of my time is spent working with NSW Catchment Management Authorities to help them develop spatial priorities for investment in Natural Resource Management (NRM) projects.
