Teaching Fellow in Hydrocarbon Geology, University of Edinburgh

Tom is a vertebrate paleontologist at specialising in the evolution of primitive fish, in particular, the evolution of their nervous system and senses. Working with colleagues throughout the world he has conducted field work in the Arctic, South Africa and the United Kingdom. His work has featured in the local and national press and he has also presented on television for the BBC Learning Zone.
