I received a PhD in Zoology from the University of Tasmania in 2013 with research assessing the ecosystem effects of Tasmanian devil decline. Prior to this I obtained my Masters in Conservation Biology from UNSW and Victoria University, NZ in 2005, and undergradaute degrees BSc and BCom from Otago University in 2004. After receiving my PhD I spent four years as a postdoctoral researcher at the Center of Excellence for Biosecurity Risk Analysis at the University of Melbourne. I am currently a Senior Scientist at the Arthur Rylah Institute for Environmental Research and an Honorary Research Fellow at University of Melbourne.
