Lecturer in Health Psychology, University of Manchester

Dr Tracy Epton has a PhD in Social and Health Psychology and is a lecturer in health psychology at the University of Manchester. She is an expert in behaviour change and in the method of crowd sourced rapid systematic reviewing. She has published in several internationally renowned journals, handbooks of behaviour change and encyclopaedias of psychological theory. She has authored several crowd sourced rapid systematic reviews regarding health behaviour and Covid-19. She is a member of the Health Psychology Exchange (a collaborative of health psychologists and researchers formed to support COVID-19 efforts), the British Psychological Society's (BPS) Behavioural Science and Disease Prevention Taskforce (that produces evidence based guidance for use by policy makers and public health) and is the communication lead for BPS Division of Health Psychology .
