Tracy Sherwood Washington

Lecturer and Researcher in Urban and Regional Planning, Queensland University of Technology

Dr Tracy Washington is a lecturer in Urban and Regional Planning, School of Civil Engineering Built Environment in the faculty of Science and Engineering at QUT. Tracy is an Exercise Physiologist with research interests in the built environment and health outcomes. Her transdisciplinary research focuses on policy and enhancing the ways in which environments support active and healthy living. Her current research includes an Australian Research Council Linkage grant evaluating physical activity levels and park design in the Moreton Bay region. Additional projects include investigating active transport interventions and the uptake of eBikes as a mode of transport and a means to improve health and well-being.
