Travis N. Ridout is the Thomas S. Foley Distinguished Professor of Government and Public Policy and the co-director of the Wesleyan Media Project, which tracks political advertising. He does research on political campaigns and political advertising. Ridout’s most recent book, Political Advertising in the United States, was published in 2016.
