Trivess has worked at RMIT University since 2006 and is currently based in the Sustainable Building Innovation Laboratory (SBiLab) in the School of Property. Construction and Project Management. He has a strong research interest in sustainable housing, energy poverty, housing policy and transitioning to a low carbon future. Trivess is currently working on a range of research projects exploring the predicted and actual performance of sustainable buildings, including affordability and liveability implications, as well as teaching about sustainable buildings. Trivess is a trustee of the Fuel Poverty Research Network.
