I am a development economist currently teaching in the Economics Department at Wellesley College in Massachusetts, United States. Before my current roles, I served as a visiting assistant professor at Northeastern University (2022–2024) and as a senior researcher at the Policy Studies Institute in Ethiopia. My research primarily focuses on development economics, labor economics, and political economy. I am passionate about exploring the economic factors that drive societal progress and developing policies to enhance well-being and improve labor markets for gainful employment.
