Ute-Christine Klehe

Full Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology, University of Giessen

Ute-Christine Klehe chairs the team of Work and Organizational Psychology at Justus-Liebig-University Giessen (Germany), after a career in different Psychology and Management departments across Germany (Philipps Universitär Marburg), Canada (University of Toronto), Switzerland (University of Zurich) and the Netherlands (University of Amsterdam). Her research addresses career self-management and internal processes during career transitions, ranging from the school-to-work transition to unemployment and migration. Other research addresses candidate reactions during personnel selection with a particular focus on antecedents and consequences of candidates’ self-presentation. Her research has appeared in outlets such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, the Journal of Vocational Psychology, and others. She currently serves as an action editor for the Journal of Organizational Behavior.
