Valerie A. Lapointe

Valerie is a PhD candidate in psychology at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQÀM). Her thesis focuses on the development of new interventions to reconsolidate negative life events and on the effect of mental entropy on psychological health. Valerie also collaborates with the sexology department in the development of VR-based treatments for sexual dysfunctions, while maintaining a keen interest in leveraging technology, including AI and VR, for advancements in sex research.
