Dr Verity Truelove is currently a senior research fellow at the University of the Sunshine Coast, within the School of Law and Society at the Road Safety Research Collaboration. She obtained her PhD in psychology at Queensland University of Technology within the Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety Queensland. She currently has over 20 peer reviewed publications in the area of road safety. Her primary research focus is on identifying ways to deter drivers from engaging in risky road rule violations, including phone use while driving, speeding, drink driving, drug driving and tailgating.
