Veronica Matthews is from the Quandamooka community, Minjerribah. She heads the Centre for Research Excellence - STRengthening systems for InDigenous healthcare Equity (CRE-STRIDE), an Indigenous-led collaboration strengthening systems to improve primary health care and the social and cultural determinants of wellbeing. Our aim is equitable health care and health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
