Veronika Bulochova

PhD Candidate, Food Safety, Cardiff Metropolitan University

I am a doctoral student at the ZERO2FIVE Food and Drink Research Unit at Cardiff Metropolitan University. I have 12 years of experience working in the food service sector and an MSc in Food Science and Technology from Cardiff Metropolitan University. In 2021 I was awarded the first ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre scholarship to undertake PhD research focused on determining the food safety culture in the hospitality and catering sector utilizing real-time data and novel Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
My research interests relate to food safety behaviour and cognition of food handlers in domestic and food service environments.
