I am a virologist at the University of Leeds. I have previously worked on a wide range of viruses from Ebola to Sars-CoV-2. I have recently started teaching undergraduate Microbiology and having to brush up on my bacteriology. My PhD was at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine where I studied Bluetongue Virus, a disease of sheep.
