I completed my PhD in exercise and muscle physiology from Victoria University in 2015. I completed postdoctoral fellowships at La Trobe University and Victoria University both in Australia in the area of exercise and muscle physiology. My research focused on how proteins in fast and slow twitch muscle respond as we age and following intensive training.
In 2018, I moved to the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden where I study how skeletal muscle responds to exercise and under different environment conditions. My research examines single muscle fibres from both physiological and biochemical perspective.
