Assistant Professor in Politics and Quantitative Methods, University of Warwick

I am an Assistant Professor in Politics and Quantitative Methods in the Department of Politics at the University of Warwick.

I have an MSc and PhD in Economics from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Florence. I have held teaching and research appointments at the University of Essex and the University of Genoa.

My research fields include the economics of conflict, defence spending, political economy and the war in Afghanistan. In my pre-academic life, I served as an officer in the Italian Navy, principally working in anti-submarine warfare.
