I'm a professor of law at the University of Ottawa with research and teaching interests at the intersection of technology and human rights. I am also the Director of CIPPIC —the Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic. I previously worked as a lawyer at a major U.S. law firm and then taught at Harvard Law School and the University of California, Davis prior to accepting my appointment at the University of Ottawa.
