Ph.D student working on Artificial Intelligence Ethics, Sorbonne Université

Volha Litvinets is a Ph.D. candidate at Sorbonne University, she works on applied ethics, specifically in artificial intelligence in the digital marketing field. In addition to this research background, she has worked as a digital marketing specialist in fintech (financial technology) for supply chain industries over the past ten years.

Prior to beginning my Ph.D., Volha completed a bachelor’s degree in linguistics in 2010. This was followed by two master’s degrees, the first in Moral Philosophy and the second in Applied Ethics. She also has experience in the public sector, having worked on the analysis of lethal autonomous vehicles conventions as an intern at the Office for Disarmament of the United Nations.
