Young Principal Investigator of Neuroscience, Fudan University

Dr. Wei Cheng is now a Young Principal Investigator at the Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-Inspired Intelligence (ISTBI), Fudan University. His research focuses on developing statistical and computational methods, and applying them to the study of brain function and mental disorders with multimodal brain imaging and genetic data. He has published more than 35 SCI articles as the first or corresponding author in many high-impact journals including JAMA Psychiatry, Nature Communications, Nature Aging, Brain, etc. His research has been cited more than 2000 times (Google academic citations). His research also has attracted the attention of many public media, foreign and domestic, including the BBC, Daily Mail, etc. He joined the editorial board of the Journal of Neuroscience Methods, also serve as a guest editor of the journal Frontiers In Aging Neuroscience, and a reviewer for a number of SCI journals including Biological Psychiatry, and Molecular Psychiatry.
