Associate Professor Wendy Stone is Director of the AHURI-Swinburne Research Centre within Swinburne's Centre for Urban Transitions, where she undertakes applied social policy research focused on the nexus between inequality, housing, child, family and community wellbeing. Previously Wendy worked at the Australian Institute of Family Studies and the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI).

Wendy is leading a $500,000 national study investigating the 'housing aspirations gap' facing young adults, families at mid-life and later life Australians including Indigenous, migrant and lower income households and innovation in policy and systems responses to address this. (AHURI 2017-2018)
