William Loader

Emeritus Professor William Loader, FAHA, is a specialist in New Testament and early Judaism. He has written widely on attitudes towards sexuality in early Judaism and Christianity beginnings, but also on historical Jesus research and the Christian gospels. He was Professor of New Testament at Murdoch University, is a Uniting Church Minister, and held an Australian Research Council Professorial Fellowship 2005-2010. He leads the International Initiatives Program of the Society for New Testament Studies, which supports and promotes New Testament research in the developing world.
