PhD Researcher in Drought Risk, University of Reading

I am a PhD student in the Department of Meteorology at the University of Reading. I am particularly interested in the impacts of climate change on freshwater resources.

My current research, funded by the NERC SCENARIO DTP aims to explore the use of a new approach - the storyline approach - to navigate uncertainty in hydrologic drought risk for the UK. My research identifies drivers of hydrological droughts in the UK and quantifies storylines (i.e. plausible unfoldings) of high-impact hydrological droughts in present and future climate.
