Xu Zhao

Xu Zhao is Associate Professor and Director of Research in Chinese Youth Mental Health at the Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary. She also serves as a faculty advisor for the Harvard Graduate School of Education X Media Lab. She earned her doctoral degree in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University. Her research focuses on understanding child and youth development in cultural (family, school, and society) and trans-cultural (migration and immigration) contexts.
