PhD Candidate at the Research School of Biology, Australian National University

I’m an Australian born scientist with an interest in ecology, biodiversity and sustainability. I love learning about the world around us, particularly the insects. My research background has spanned insect diversity and marine plastic pollution, the common thread being an interest in understanding biodiversity and how humans interact with it.

Currently I am a PhD student studying the diversity and ecology of a group of leaf mining micro-moths (Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae). To learn more about my research check out my Research and Publications. I split my research time between the Australian National Insect Collection (ANIC) and the Australian National University (ANU).

I’m passionate about diversity in science and making science more accessible to all. I’m currently looking to do more outreach and science communication. Do reach out if you want to collaborate!
