Postdoctoral Research Associate, University of Oxford

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Clinical Social Cognition lab, under the supervision of Professor Geoff Bird. I am employed on a project funded by the John Templeton Foundation which aims to help us to understand how we model other minds to improve understanding of others.

Prior to joining the Clinical Social Cognition lab, my doctoral research (under the supervision of Dr Alison Eardley) investigated the nature and individual variation of an experience known as aphantasia, the inability to generate voluntary visual imagery. My research explored this experience within visual and auditory modalities. Individual differences in mental imagery experience remains a key research interest.
