A story posted by our UK colleagues last night on the breaking news that Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 had been shot down has been removed from the site.
The story ran in this morning’s newsletter under the headline “Five steps Malaysia Airlines must take after its second disaster in four months.” It was removed because we decided it was inappropriate to focus on the crisis management issues for Malaysia Airlines at a time when the news is still breaking about the number of dead and what had occurred.
The story was accurate given what was known at the time of publication and may be restored later with updated information.
