Web hits threaten one in eight computers

Approximately one in eight Australian IPs are exposed to web threats every day, a study from Deakin University has found.

The researchers analysed malicious activity from more than 200 million web requests per day originating from Australia.

Around 400,000 of these were issued to malicious web pages.
