Titled, Growth Is Not Enough. Africa Needs to Transform, the summit will also serve as the launch of ACET’s 2024 African Transformation Index (ATI) report, which shows that many African economies, despite periods of growth, are still struggling to transform due to economic shocks. Economic transformation and growth on te continent will yield sustainable economic benefits for citizens.
This summit will focus on critical discussions surrounding exploring pathways for policy development and uptake of ATI recommendations, with a focus on fostering economic resilience and identifying actionable steps for transforming African economies.
Panellists will discuss strategies for Africa to strengthen its economic resilience for endurance against shocks and prevent setbacks in growth and transformation, and ensure that future growth is both inclusive and sustainable for the improved livelihood of all Africans.
