Visiting research fellows, University of Leeds

My research combines reconstructions of past ocean conditions with observations of modern ocean processes to understand the links between the ocean's biogeochemical cycles and climate. My recent work focuses on Arctic shallow seas and continental margins to understand the impacts of rapid sea ice retreat and changing ocean circulation patterns on the seafloor environment.

I completed my bachelors degree at the University of Pittsburgh (2010) before spending a year in Norway at the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research as a Fulbright Fellow. I returned to the United States for my masters (2013) and doctorate (2016) at the University of Michigan. After my PhD, I was awarded a Marie Curie Research Fellowship to pursue research at the University of Leeds in the UK.
