Erin Alice Cowling

Associate Professor of Spanish, Department of Humanities, MacEwan University

I'm an associate professor of Spanish at MacEwan University. I study early modern Spanish literature, particularly the theater (think Shakespeare, but in Spanish!) and the modern adaptations performed around the world today. I have published on topics such as chocolate in literature, social justice on the early modern stage, gender and racial disparities in literature, and the use of modern technologies to study ancient literature.
