I have been a researcher in criminal justice and penal policy for 15 years, and a lecturer for 8 years. I have done research on a variety of projects from youth justice, to public opinion on crime and criminal justice.
I have a keen interest in public perceptions of crime and justice and penal policy developments. I am a mixed methods researcher so I work with both quantitative and qualitative data.
I am currently working on two ESRC funded projects - a seminar series on Data - Debating Transparency; and a research project on Intergenerational Trust.
