Suzanne Fraser is Coordinator of the Centre of Visual Art (CoVA) and has previously been a lecturer in Art History at the University of Melbourne. Her PhD investigated the role of colonial art collections in shaping Australian cultural identity and her current research uses ecological methodologies to study the interrelationship between aesthetics and the built environment. She is currently part of the University of Melbourne's research team undertaking annual Refuge evaluations on behalf of Arts House and the City of Melbourne.
