Ph.D. Student of Political Science, Colorado State University

I am an International Relations and Conflict Resolution researcher, the backdrop of which relates to the unraveling of the geopolitics of the Middle East and East African regions. My articles discuss, in great detail, sensitive matters within countries like Yemen and Ethiopia. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Political Science from Colorado State University, focusing on US-Chinese strategic engagement over the East African and Middle Eastern regions.

I investigate the interrelation between political and military powers, economic interests, and environmental factors, which form the multi-dimensional geopolitical landscape of this region. I seek, by placing special emphasis on the geopolitical dynamics, to widen my knowledge of regional power relations and strategic alliances. The goal is to identify sustainable solutions that will foster informed decisions in addressing the challenges these regions are facing as a consequence of interdependence.
