(she/they)
PhD Candidate, University of Warwick

I am a final year PhD Student at the University of Warwick in the International Political Economy cluster of the department of Politics and International Relations. My PhD thesis looks at how everyday perceptions of 'the economy' mobilised anti-lockdown and Black Lives Matter protesters during the Covid-19 pandemic in the USA. I am also a Graduate Teaching Assistant at King's College London on the Political Economy of Immigration and Political Economy of a Pandemic modules. I have already published two peer reviewed articles in leading academic journals on the relationship between everyday political thought, economic ideas and racism. I completed my Master's in International Politics and Europe in 2010 at Warwick, where I focused I conducted a comparative study of the emergence of US and European style welfare states. I worked in the international corporate events and publication industry for nearly a decade before returning to academia.
