I am a PhD candidate in the Learning Sciences program at the Department of Educational & Counselling Psychology, McGill University.
My research interests are in educational technology, digital learning environments and artificial intelligence in education. My interdisciplinary research investigates the impact of digital assistant (E.g. Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Siri) use on children’s theories of artificial minds. Specifically, how children interact and learn with digital assistants, how they perceive the affordances of these technologies and how these perceptions impact understanding of intelligent technologies.
