Senior lecturer, The University of Edinburgh

Carin Runciman is a Senior Lecturer in Social Policy at the University of Edinburgh and a Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Johannesburg. Prior to this she was the Director for the Centre for Social Change, University of Johannesburg. Her research specializes in working class politics in post-apartheid South Africa with a particular focus on community protest and precarious work.
