Sabrina Robert is Professor of International Law at Nantes University. She is member of the research center Droit et changement social and associated member of the Institute of Research in International and European Law of the Sorbonne Law School. She is a member of the French Branch of the International Law Association, of the Société française pour le droit international and of the Société française pour le droit de l’environnement.
She is specialized in international economic law and in environmental law. She has published and lectured extensively in the areas of international investment law, international trade law and on the subject of the interaction between both and environmental law (in particular she published her thesis on Droits de l’investisseur étranger et protection de l’environnement. Contribution à l’analyse de l’expropriation indirecte in 2010, Martinus Nijhoff). In recent years, she has worked extensively on climate law and the contribution of investment and trade law to the environmental transition.
Sabrina completed her PhD. at the Sorbonne Law School in 2008 and a Postgraduate Diploma (Master) in International Law and International Organizations in 2002 at Paris. She has gained practical experience in international investment arbitration, assisting ICSID arbitrator during many years.
