David is an early career researcher with a strong expertise in Electromyography and Kinesiology and in the analysis of sport performances. He developed his scientific skills by completing a PhD in Lyon (France) in 2007, then a post-doctoral fellowship at Victoria University (from 2008 to 2011). He develops a multidisciplinary approach of human movements and sport performance by working closely with Biomechanists and Exercise Physiologists of the Institute of Sport Exercise and Active Living but also from international research teams. He has applied his approach to different sports (cycling, tennis, rowing, and rugby). Results from his work have leaded to 40 publications/presentations in international journals and conferences. He is also a former rugby player and has worked as strength and conditioning coach for two professional rugby union teams in France.
