Australians are working longer into life

A new analysis from ANU has reviewed data on employment rates of those over 55.

It showed Australians are working later into life, partly influenced by the “superannuation revolution”.

Researcher Peter McDonald also noted that despite government encouragement to work at older ages, the public sector is one of the lowest employers of those over 55.
