Big wheels keep on turning, Red Sea keep on warming

According to satellite derived sea surface and air tempartures the Red Sea is going through an intense warming initiated in the mid 1990s.

Comparisons with Northern Hemisphere temperatures suggest that the observed warming is not a regional phenomena but is part of global climate change trends.
