Mothers who choose to bottle feed their babies may not be receiving adequate information and education in hospital, new research by the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) has indicated.
Breastfeeding is the best option for both the mother and the newborn, but for a variety of reasons, approximately one in five women bottle fed at the time of discharge from hospital.
