Cleaner air means better health

Cleaner air definitely results in improved cardiovascular health, according a new study.

The researchers monitored the health of 125 healthy doctors working in a central Beijing hospital. The study took advantage of the reduced pollution levels during the Beijing Olympics when comparing results.

The researchers hope that the definitive findings will encourage governments to think more carefully about pollution and public health policy.
